On June 17, 2010, WordPress Version 3.0, named for Thelonious, was released to the public.
This site is currently running WordPress 3.0. I had a little issue on the automatic upgrade and had to do a manual upgrade. The site was 500 for about 20 minutes, and then all was well after a few quick permission tweaks and one of the plugins missed a SQL update. Other than those items, no real devasting problems.
I’ve loaded one client so far with the new code and it went very, very well. No surprises or technical issues.
